Again thanks for the information but I did not want to mount the shocks and find out they were not up to standards. The two alternatives for series 3 are Spax and Gaz shocks. I have had no experience with these. The ones I have are original Girlings. Thanks for any comments. Best Regards

I just received a frt set of OEM shocks from SNG. These are made in Turkey. When I tested them out of the box the upper part of the shock or dust cover started to move downward as I compressed it with no resistance what-so-ever? I have a 1973 XKE series 3 roadster manual trans. The donor car is a 1996 X-305 6.0L LWB LHD automatic. thanks

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has exchanged their carby engine with a 6.0L fuel injected. I have access to a complete car. Mine is a manual trans. I don't know what it would take. I would assume I would need an adaptor plate to match up. However I am not sure how much work is involved. Any remarks...

Bob thanks again great information..I guess my engine is much earlier so I don't need the mount bracket? The suffix on mine LA confuses me. I am assuming that the break off nos. 14001 is much later than my 9385? Am i correct in assuming this? Best Regards Robert

Bob thanks for the information...My gearbox # is KL-4437. Will I need the bracket? Do you know or is there a picture in a shop manual? My car #UDIS22206. My engine #7S-9385 LA.
