Re: Heated Rear Window Relay Schematic

Hi Steve your second diagram is the same as the jaguar diagram in my S2 operation and maintenance handbook.....the small buff colour one.....it also has the inline fuse rated as 15amp.....however with modern fuses this value is altered...see link for fuse ratings http://forum.etypeuk.com/viewtopic....

Re: Bulkhead diagram with mounting labels

John, that's a very useful diagram. Is it possible to get a higher resolution copy? Maybe David (Heuer) could add that to the knowledge base? Oh, and as Mark asked earlier, is there a version for the later cars? Thanks Geoff I have the original file and could make a higher res version for you if yo...

Re: Bulkhead diagram with mounting labels

The '???' On the bottom line are for the choke cable grommet on a S1 car blanked off on twin carbs. Not sure the 'rust prevention blanks' are standard. Angus, Thanks - I'll add the choke cable grommet label to this point of my diagram. I only had one example to work with at the time and it was my 1...

Bulkhead diagram with mounting labels

I posted this on the Jag-Lovers E-type forum and was asked by Steve to post it here. I made this based on a diagram John North created and I found on the Internet while restoring my 1963 Coupe. I expanded on it in an attempt to label every opening and threaded opening in the bulkhead/bodywork and wh...

Re: Central arm rest height?

Yeves, I did the same thing in my 1963- I built a wooden cubby box and lid, then upholstered it with a thicker top pad that fit my arm position. Uniquely, I didn't permanently mount it to the console but rather used the sticky rubber pads that are sold to hold a smart phone or ipad on the dash of yo...

Re: Centre Console Identification

Vinyl covered console top and gear shift gauntlet makes it a post 1963 console. I don't know for certain, but the shift gauntlet looks a lot like my 1963 version in metal. It could be a 4.1 series 1 console.

Re: Crash roll trim FHC

I remember this clearly when I rebuilt by Bettie. The crash roll has a metal backing that is attached to the body by self taping screws that are inserted through the bottom of the rubber seal channel. There are rivets in there that hold the seal channel too, so the screws wont remove the channel onl...

Hello for a new Member from California, USA

Hi everyone,
I found this forum from a link posted on the jag-lovers.org forum. I have just registered and added myself to the Zeemap too. I haven't read a lot of the posts yet, but I will be working ym way through the forum in the weeks to come.
