So, the PO used a modified version of the webbing! Seems to be the story of this car…almost there after 5 years!
Would anyone know the distances required between the bows for installing the top webbing fabric?
Thanks in advance.

Hood Webbing
Would anyone know a source for the hood webbing? The ones in my car were cut just past the rear bow in my 1962 by the PO. The ones currently installed, but a tad short are a tan fabric sewn over top of cotton(?) webbing. Is this correct? Thank you in advance, Mike https://i.postimg.cc/vHmRbbwx/image...

Re: Moss box help
Would anyone have the dimensions or standard O-ring sizes for the two sealing rings for the countershaft and reverse shaft on a Moss box?
Jaguar numbers are C4284 and C4285.
I’m thinking #208 and #209 in standard O-ring size?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Moss box help
Can one replace the orings in situ, or is it a engine out job?
Just curious if the aluminum rear end cover (C21415) can be pulled off and the orings replaced, or does the box need to be dismantled to replace them?

Moss box help
I cleaned up and resealed the Moss box in my 1962 OTS when I had the car all apart. The box remained sealed until I hit around 300 miles on it. I now have a leak at the back of the gearbox and it appears to be in the area where the counter shaft and reverse shaft protrude and get locked in place by ...

Re: Trafficator switch
I am assuming it is correct as it is dated 10/62 which is the month of manufacture of the car.
100% sure? No...this car had a lot of interesting repairs...
However the switch is not like the link just sent in post #12, it is like the one in post #6.
Thanks,
Mike

Correct.
Unfortunately, this one does not fit into the die cast housing that goes over top...

Re: Trafficator switch
Neat video, but for the later version of the switch (part # C21710). Mine is a part # C16069
I'm assuming that a proper (original) Lucas C21710 would fit in place of the C16069?

Hopefully someone can assist me in my quest... There is a part missing from my original switch that would operate the dash indicators. Would someone have any pictures of the missing part as i hope to reproduce it and get my switch back in operation. https://i.postimg.cc/rsVDgvHQ/IMG-0366.jpg https:/...

Re: Coolant Recomendations?
If you are using premix, good to go. If using "full strength" and want to cut it to 50/50 then use the good water...

Zerex G40 was recommended to me.
Available at NAPA. My branch in Penticton had to order it in for me.

I had to slightly modify the mounting holes on my sliders to get the seats to fit replacement floors.
