Needed to fit the hold-down plates as the tappet guides were lifting - at least 3 of them have been touching the cam lobes! The sprockets appear to be the good ones.
The gaps do vary, but are all between .004 & 006, so I'll have to look into changing the shims.

Hi Richard Your first picture looks familiar!!! Did my 3 covers last year with U-shaped chrome trim from BAS for about £5. Is available in various sizes from other trim suppliers and car-builder solutions.
Was quite fiddly trying to get it to bend smoothly around the corners though!

Hi Phil By coincidence, just yesterday I received a pair of K&N Filters, but on trying to fit them found the front one will not go over the chassis rail (by at least half an inch) :mad: I'm leaving mine as LHD, however also trying to replace the standard box air filter, like yours for something more...
