Re: rubber mounting to chassis member rear suspension cradle
https://i.postimg.cc/VsGf48pf/IMG-0063.jpg Many thanks to all who have offered their help - I have today cut off the head of the bolt and removed the mounting bracket. This allowed me to drive the bolt and tube out together leaving the oversized hole shown in the photo. I now have to find a way to ...

Re: rubber mounting to chassis member rear suspension cradle
Thanks for the tip Dave - will try to get some tomorrow - just hope I can get it to penetrate into the chassis arm. As you can see from the photo access is limited and if the bolt is rusted to the guide tube over its full length then it may take several applications along with pressure with the G cl...

Two exit together on near side (left) and are not as heavy as the single cable which exits on offside (right). All three extend about 6 inches from the loom and are obviously positioned to conn...

Series 1 FHC engine installation
Is it possible to install the engine and gearbox (without inlet and outlet manifolds) from underneath without a lift. I have the bonnet, radiator etc off the car and was thinking I could attach a hoist to the picture frame and lift the car over the engine/gearbox. The engine/gearbox could then be li...

Re: Heater hose C18987, diameter fitting adapter C17421
Many thanks Andrew - bit of drilling and a bit of filing and it came out in four pieces eventually. New adaptor in now - a great relief

Re: Heater hose C18987, diameter fitting adapter C17421
in trying to remove a rusty adaptor (C17421) it has sheared off leaving the threaded part in the inlet manifold.
It will not move with an extractor and I don't want to use too much force and crack the alloy. Anyone had this problem and found a solution
