thank you for the answer engine block number is stamped on the block and is corresponding.
My doubt goes towards if the block has been changed and restamped.

Dear all, I am new to this forum. I have a question, I have an E-type apparently numbers matching. However changing the oil filter insert - I discovered that there are 5 holes in the engine block, and not 4 holes as shown in the parts catalogue - 5 holes is only in the enigne block for MKII and S-Ty...
