Does anybody know where you can obtain the heat resistant “ISOLATOR” part no BD39493?
These are the material that is attached to the steel inspection covers.
They seem to be obsolete with all parts suppliers.
Does anybody have a suggestion for a replacement material?

Thanks Craig I really appreciate that. I take it the pipe is part of the emission control, which has been removed on my car! Starter Motor Heat Shield
Does anybody know how the starter motor heat shield attaches to the body of a V12 E Type? I have recently bought a new aluminium one from SNG Barrett, but can work out where it lives.
