Excellent thank you. That's put my mind at rest. Both sides are definitely concave. The old girl is as straight as an original E Type could be after 56 years. The paint and panel sealer is not lifted and there's not evidence of anything thereabouts being lumped but it was a concern because I'd not n...

Chassis plate fixing area S1

Can anybody please tell me whether the chassis area fixing location of a S1 3.8 is absolutely flat or curved, or can either end finish be found on standard vehicles?

Hello,

This is the first post from a new member.

I'm at the stage of just about having stripped everything off my 3.8 FHC in what is likely to be the most thorough of recommissioning tasks.

Tips and advice on reassembly methods will be gratefully received in the coming months.
