Re: 1965 FHC Windscreen fitting (SWB)

Keith how long have you had this screen rubber?
Although newly purchased doesn’t mean it’s not been sitting on a shelf for months.
Age doesn’t help their malleability

Re: Center console assembly tips

Hi Mikael Check both panels fit nicely together on the bench first. 5. Fit the radio console with the ashtray panel fitted (angle detail at the top) first. Fit this with the two tunnel side carpet panels only, omit any soundproofing at this stage and ensure the gauge panel opens and closes without i...

Actually it’ll only take you to the topic not the post. The blue arrows for scrolling are handy for that.

Must have been the day for it. Mine needed some quite substantial PO rectification. I could only get 3 corners at a time to fit nicely

This is like a video of watching someone unbox something. It’s probably not even called a video anymore.
I’m perfectly capable of wasting my own time without losing 18 minutes of my life on that.

A pillar dimensions

Does someone have access to measure the inner width of the A pillar.

I can’t tell which bit on my car is incorrect or been bodged, I’ve got about 34mm but it’s insufficient to attach the channel for the rubber.

I think a Mercedes or Rolls would be more fitting for their German origins. Jaguar is now Indian owned.
And they’ve been running around in VAG products for over two decades
