From what I’ve read fuel pipe isn’t compatible with brake fluid, and it appears that’s what Rory used.

I think what you’re seeing is unnecessary plastic covers. It’s been a while since I looked up there.

I’ve also got a jaguar mild steel exhaust, if you drill out the baffles at the inlet of the centre silencers you can see straight through. It’s not at all boomy in a FHC

I’ve got an automotech two post lift, which copes fine with my car. You do have to be perfectly in the centre as the arms are at full extension to pick up the front jacking positions. I’ve got a catslide roof so can’t get it to full height with this car on it, but I wouldn’t be without it.

A water softener adds salt to your water. I guess it’s an option though

Age doesn’t help their malleability

It’s glued under the steel console or the ali panel won’t sit down on the console nicely.
Paint the top of the console black it will hide it.
