Is there a definite answer to the e10 fuel
Is it suitable in a 5.3 E
I suspect not but trying to find what to use is a nightmare.
Been using e5 and no running probs but the fuel bowl lower push seals have failed

Stromberg fuel sump plug
Recently had a leak from the carb which was found to be the fuel sump plug, whipped it out And fitted a new one but the old one was so rough I did them all. Worked for two weeks and 3 of them leaking. Popped them out and found o seal eaten away. Now I'm no rocket scientist but these o seals are the ...

Re: Fuel pump first run
for that nut (just had the saga myself ) use a medium reach socket 3/8 drive and a short wobble extension, easy peasy then. However that was a doddle compared to removing the brake cotter pin to get the master cylinder out, had to remove seat, steering wheel to get my rather large body into the foot...

master cylinder replaced ser 3
Not a job I thought would give me to many problems, little hiccup getting the lower nut off but with a 3/8 slim medium reach socket fiddly but ok. However what sadistic git designed the clevis pin location, at 6 ft i had to remove the steering wheel and drivers seat then slide in on my back into the...
s3 brakes
Quite well covered in here but not quite the same problem. Last year my servo unit had rusted quite badly and I replaced it and all was well until last week. My brake pedal has gone rock hard (brakes are NOT on ) I have changed the reaction valve, no difference. Good vacuum and no apparent leaks on ...

ser 3 driveshafts
After having a severe argument with a lump of something very hard on the road one of my driveshafts and the uj is wrecked. question: does anyone know of a repair shop that can weld a gouge where the uj fits the driveshaft and then machine it to fit a new UJ. or anyone have one laying around in their...

Re: sticky engine valve
going down the road you get a misfire from one cylinder as all the fuel system and electrics are ok i suspect an exhaust valve is not opening or closing as it should hopefully caused by carbon build up and nothing more serious. Car runs fine but holds back a little when accelerating more annoying th...

Ser 3 v12 E type Have had a niggling problem for a while which seemed to go away but now back. I have a miss on one cylinder. Fitted new plugs and leads along with dizzy cap and checked for a good spark on all 12 cylinders which there was. No fuel starvation to any cylinder. No real signs of blue sm...

upper ball joint circlip
Any out there know the correct size of the front upper ball joint circlip as mine popped. Thought it was a tad small on fitting as when I did the other side when it eventually went in the groove it was a good fit.

new servo fitted but all is not well
I am a complete numpty, after fitting the new servo assembly I had a bit of a nightmare figuring out where the vacuum lines connected, all sorted now thanks to the tech section manuals, nice picky of vac tank and hoses. So next problem and I kind of figure this is down to the duel braking system I b...
