Folks, are these silicone hose kits good ? has anyone installed them on their XKE?? would it hurt
value of car? I want to change all the of hoses and this does offer a cheaper way to go for me. Thanks Mike.

Folks, where is this relay (alternator) located? (basket case ).. and does the 3aw relay needed for the alternator

Folks, in canada I am unable to find Rim tape for my wire wheels, I did find PVC tape 2in wide, one tape is with cloth, and another with just pvc, I do see bike tape but too narrow, Do you think this option would work (2in stuff) any suggestions for my 67 xke would be appreciated, Thanks Mike.

Folks, my rear window, I have the lower fabric installed, now the thin plastic that goes around the window at the top (looks like a horse shoe) how does it attach? when I look under this large plastic I see no holes or brackets nothing to indicate how it was attached to frame of window, it does look...

Folks, 67 fhc my LEFT door latch sticks(inside issue I guess) parts book shows bd32367 as left side series 1.5,
the series 1 bd20095 """looks"" the same . does anyone know if they work the same? can I use
both?? looks expensive on ebay.

Folks, old style tach, series 1, has no marking on back where + wire goes, does it matter?, I do not want to screw it up, I will run new wires from generator a/c back to this unit. Thanks. folks, front of tach read rv 7414, maybe one wire is + 12 volts and other to NEGITIVE on coil, could this be rite, pic of back supplied.

more info, the tach I have has two spade connectors at back, could this be a tach that should use the a/c generator at back of block??, remember this is a basket case car and not sure what year this tach is from, I do not have the generator on my head, do not know what year head is or if it could be...

Thanks for post to Steve, got cold here in Montreal again, will double check choke stuff to be sure
it is closed, as soon as it warms up will try propane test all around to check for leaks, stand

Yep, have a balance meter, did not use it yet, on revving engine all 3 pots rise the same, positive crankcase ??, do not know what to check with that, I will pull apart floats to check levels, what brothers me is the constant backfires from exhaust, lots, would this mean too rich??? of just bad muff...
