steering rack greasing
Hi, just completed rebuild of the steering rack on 1974 OTS and getting ready to grease it. The workshop manual says to inject 1 oz of grease, this doent seem like very much, but then again I am not sure how to measure 1 oz of grease so perhaps thats a lot? Any advice much appreciated!

Re: Safe to proceed with restoration?
thanks for the feedback, yes I have oiled/rotated the engine semi regularly.
My concern was the rubber type seals all, especially the valve stem seals.
When you mention Crank seal do you mean front or rear? I guess either one is a bear to replace all over again! Engine out once more

Re: basic dimensions for front frame alignment
Hi Bill, firstly, thank you so much for responding, really appreciate it. Found the dimensions as you pointed out, don't know why I missed them the other 10 times I looked, senior moment I guess. Check ed the Frames, all is well there. Loosened everything up on the bonnet, removed the rear stiffness...

basic dimensions for front frame alignment
I have a 1974 OTS, the car was damaged in shipment, it was in a container, which was dropped by the shipping company, resulting in it rolling back and forth for an unknown number of miles. This primarily damaged the nose of the bonnet quite badly. Prior to this the car was in perfect condition, it o...
