Re: 1965 FHC on a Rotisserie Jig
Use (2) engine stands with rear bolted to license plate panel. On the front the it is attached to picture frame. Front suspension is in place. Clearance in my work space dictated a point of rotation above the picture frame secured with steel angle iron. https://i.postimg.cc/0Q4nXgK9/IMG-4857.jpg

The radius arms are always in the way and who wants to keep unfastening the hub shaft. I reversed the...

Chuffer, I should have noticed the 10 spline “Mustang” input shaft, not welded. You have piqued my interest. Thanks

Re: Radius arm attachment
Please see Hi-Lok protruding shear head alloy steel, Cad II plated HL18PB-4 aluminum shear type HL70-6 collar. Installation guidelines can be found on manufacturer's website. I agree that is just easier to purchase the replacement floor section with the cups already installed and cut it down to the ...

Re: Radius arm attachment
The radius arm cup should not be welded to the floor. Please see a post by Chuck Hadley from Monocoque Metalworks. https://www.monocoque-metalworks.com/main/2011/11/e-type-floors-and-sills-the-monocoque-metalworks-way/. There is an equivalent rivet that can be used that is easier to install. I'll se...

Always wondered about “odd man out” fuel bowl. Great idea. It looks like the headers are ceramic coated?bitsobrits wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 1:11 pmAnd I took the opportunity to move the rear float bowl, one of those incongruous things that bothered me a lot. I'm funny like that.

I have posted elsewhere that Joey would be an ideal candidate for the E-Torque head upgrade. He has an analytic approach and a “get it done attitude”.

Does anyone notice the reduced suspension travel on jounce with it lowered 2”? Much easier to hit the bump stops.

Re: The 5 Speed is here……..
Joey, I read that a lightened flywheel can create some noise, vibration, juddering at idle and in first gear at low revs. I think I saw it on the “Driven man” website. What is your experiences. Love your modifications on a etype that is intended to be driven!
