Thank you so much. Thats very helpful. The person before who tried to "restore" the car has also cut clean through the screw slots on the side of the consol. I'm not sure why, but a new one has now been purchased.

Good evening. I am looking at my centre radio console, and wondered what screws/ fixings should be used to fix the ashtray insert at the sides of the radio console. At the moment, someone has previously made a complete hash of it. There is no ashtray, which i plan to reinstate to bring back the orig...

Thank you evryone who responded. I will take a look now. The aluminium panels i have bought are covered too. It does make me wonder what people do with their cars to lose pieces like this.

Sorry for the delay. Thank you to everyone who posted help. It was an adjustment issue. The latch is now lifting ok

I have a 1962 fhc and wondered about the rear door release. When I pull the lever behind the drivers seat, is the rear door supposed to jump up slightly for you to get your fingers under to release the catch? Mine does not do this. I have to put my fingers on the edge of the door and pull it up slig...
