1965 FHC on a Rotisserie Jig

I really dont want to strip down the whole front end again, so has anybody mounted a rotiserie to the front frames... successfu...

Re: S1 FHC Rear Hatch Trim
John Skinner does a 'Biscuit' trim piece. Think I will phone them to see if Tan could be a special order... or biscuit is close. If niot then maybe black.
Thank you

S1 FHC Rear Hatch Trim
One piece of trim my car is missing is a rear hatch trim. Not the rubber seal that sits in the channel, but one that clips around the inside edge. Diagram attached. Does anyone know whether they should match the trim colour? (Tan in my case). I'm hoping they are available... https://i.postimg.cc/52N...

Re: Series 1 bonnet fitting

Re: Series 1 bonnet fitting
Some really helpful information in here thank you all. (I have already played the hinge modification game to get more adjustment, I just chopped it with a hacksaw, and got it TIG welded up, picture attached) https://i.postimg.cc/yx1N90C3/IMG-1102-1.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/Fz329BBj/IMG-1083-1.jpg

Re: Series 1 bonnet fitting
Can I answer these responses individually? Cant see how, so I will answer all of them here... I am using shims, I have adjusted with shims to give a good fit against the bulkhead. BUT, that is without the balance springs attached. Attaching them moves the bonnet forward about 5mm.(It did move forwar...

Series 1 bonnet fitting
Hi All, I am almost at the end of fitting a 'new' bonnet to my 65 FHC. (The 'new' bonnet is made up of some new pannels, some NOS, and some original but repaired.) So I'm not sure if I have a problem, or just run into a feature of the bonnet, and that is, when the balance springs are fitted the fit ...
