Thanks EDavid, You painted a wonderful picture for me. Smoothness in the shift is the sacrifice. For a weekend tooling around OTS that might be too much of a performance upgrade. Yes the engine is comming out for a total rebuilt and time to make the decisions. Wish I had one to test drive. You defin...

Light weight Flywheel
Light weight flywheel with a 5 speed gear box. I'm green with envy over ClassicJaguar.com's products. My only concern is how will replaceing the heavy Iron flywheel on my 4.2 with the light weight one will effect rev and torque. I run a 3.07 dif . Was there a need for the heavy flywheel? counter wei...

Center laced 6" rims with 205/70 SR 15s have enough offset to not cause clearance problems in the rear. Center laced wheels provide for better handling (wider track) The center laced rims are the way I'm going too. 6" 5", not shure yet. How would a spare fit in the trunk. Is there enough room for a ...

My 5" original need a complete rechroming an almost equal cost. Losing the feel is a big negative, but to feel it first hand one must experian...

You will love the 3:07. My 67 ots came stock from Jag with this rear end. The 4.2 has all the torque and rev to run through the gears as fast as you can press in the clutch and gas. I had mine @ 140 mph on a long inner city down hill run and still had a 4th more pedal range till I hit the floor. Whe...

Hey to all! First Post and new to the Forum. Read this one and had to join and reply. I have a 67 Series1 ots with a factory hard top. Missing the Left half of the window chrome. Three companies made these and supplied them as after market or given directly to Jag. Two in the US and one in UK. Wish ...
