Re: Evan’s classic cool 180.. waterless

I’ve always used Castrol 4 Life in both my E Type and XK120 without any issues (plus a water wetting agent). I also have my Kenlowe (took the original useless fan out) on manual control so that I can switch it on when I want, eg approaching a traffic jam etc. But, as others have said, whatever coola...

Re: cooling fan

I have an β€˜old’ 2 speed Kenlowe on my 4.2 and decided to convert to a manual switch. This is because many years ago, on a scorching hot day, I was caught in very slow moving stop/start traffic on the M25 and as we were waiting many minutes before moving another few car lengths, I decided to switch t...

Re: Steering wheel vibrations at 70 mph

When I had a steering wheel wobble around 70mph, I swopped each front wheel with the rear one, one set at a time and took the car for a test drive. I then found when I swopped the o/s front with the o/s rear, the wobble went! So I then knew which wire wheel it was and sent it to a specialist to chec...

Excellent and informative explanation DaveπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

I think I’ll go and check mine again even though it seems to run smoothly.

Cheers,

Richard

Re: E Type Video

Excellent πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

When we were parked at cafe at the top of a mountain pass in Switzerland (sorry, can’t spell its name!) with a Ferrari one side and a Maserati the other, our E Type was much photographed with no pictures being taken of the other twoπŸ‘πŸ‘.

Fuel tank

Hi guys, I’m considering replacing the fuel tank in the very near future (before the good weather arrives!) as there is a smell of petrol fumes in the boot and I’ve already replaced/checked everything else (pipes, pump etc) in the boot. Have you any recommendations as to who the best supplier of the...

Re: Content not viewable!

Thanks for all your replies guysπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

I did find the earlier comments (thread) on this just after I had posted this thread but it was too late to delete it.

Suppose I’ll (we’ll) just have to accept this.

Regards,

Richard
