Hi Welcom to the forum...im sure you will find it very usefull.....there are plenty of dealers about....why not visit a few to look over their cars...see how you fit in them and get a feel for whats on offer....you never know you may find one you want to buy....Steve

Hi Steve...on my S2 2+2 the chrome on the cant rail was held in place by two of the clips you show.....one on the bend like yours and one at the rear......you should be able to see a rivet hole if yours had two......the chrome is just slotted on and was pinched in places to hold it.....yes also just...

Hi Tim.....yes.....its no good haveing it running nice at tickover with low Co then find it dosnt perform on the road...however the jet do sound like they are high.....what needles do you have.....not what was on the packet whats actually on the needles.....Steve

Hi Nigel.....to engage the cups i find it easy if you drop the car down on its wheels....handbrake on or chock the rear wheels.....rock/roll car rearwards........becaus the irs has movements on its mounts the radius arms will move forwards and engage in the cups.......Steve

Hi Richard.....i cannot see that rechroming could alter the spinners....however i assume you never tried them prior to chroming.........are you sure they were a set of originals...weight etc..........is the depth of thread the same on the two set or are the "new" ones bottoming out...so no actually ...

Hi John.....lift the lever and you will see a tiny screw...remove it.......the outer ring is then loose.....you will have to fiddle with it with the lever raised to get it out......it only comes out one way and goes back in the same so note how it comes off....Steve

Remove one screw at rear of each runner.........pull seat base rearwards to unhook the front of each runner..seat should now lift out with runners still attached..Steve

Hi Jonathan...so is the clutch now sorted as you've been driving up/down your lane? Re fluid expulsion....have you just refilled your system.......is the main thermostat working.....Steve

I think your problem is more likely to be the thrust bearing.....the fork dosnt need to move much but i would like to see it more in the center of the opening.....thats why i sugested opening it up and and looking at the release bearing....Steve
