#1 RPG 24F - my dad's old car

Post by Andy_G » Thu Aug 13, 2020 5:09 pm

Hi

My dad used to own a white e-type series 1 (1.5 I think he called it) 4.2 with black interior, registration RPG 24F. He owned it from approx. 1998 to the late 2000's.

This is a link to information he uploaded to xkedata about it.

http://www.xked.com/cars/detail/?car=1E ... istory=yes

The photo with the sea behind is him driving, and me in the passenger seat. I'm fairly certain we were driving the TT course on the Isle of Man during an organised Jaguar trip.

Does anyone know where the car is now and who owns it? I'd love to find out.

Thanks all
Andy

Hi Andy, there’s nothing listed in my 2006/11 directory of vehicles and owners books.
The nearest I could see was RPG 84F
Your chassis number listed on xkdata seems to be one digit short. But that’s a great photo!
Sorry couldn’t help.

Last taxed 1 April 2008, no MOT, no insurance. Likely exported or hidden in a barn.

No, that is correct for a S1.5
