#1 Newbie W Mids

Post by 40GT » Wed Nov 27, 2024 7:27 pm

Hello all,

been lurking for quite a while now and thought best to register and say hello.

I have been around and working with classic cars most of my life, some exotica and some certainly not, there was something missing though, I always wanted but never had an ''E'', so now I have and what a pleasure it is.

Hopefully I can contribute to the forum with some requests, having never been a great forum poster, here does seem like the right place to ask and get some genuine advice, as you really do have some excellent threads here and they have been most helpful, thank you very much.

Sean.

Sean, welcome to the best place for all things E Type. Tell us more about buying your E Type, does it need any work, or do you plan to do any? Lots of information, help and advice on here, with a very good search facility.

Happy E Type motoring

Thank you chaps,
I see Steve is just up the road from me, nice to have a marque with such a large owner base.
Yes Geoff I will do all the work myself, ( I mostly work on old cars anyway ), the E needed much tinkering type work, ( including a frozen chain tensioner which was a little more involved ) but I'm in no hurry to stop driving it and doing a little as and when, winter and salt is here now though, they still give pleasure even when they're not driving I suppose.
