I bought mine when i was 32 , 10 years ago , and at many shows and gatherings many people didnt think the car was mine , I would have to pull the keys out of my pocket and start it before they would belive it was mine

Hi looked at a few but to be honest got very bored as my budget was tight and was set on a Series 1 3.8 FHC which aren't cheap. Its MOT'd and in overall rust free good condition, i am a perfectionist so over the next few years will be gently restoring it, when funds allow!!

I bought mine my Etype I was 22.... I am now 51 and still have it...

The car has transported a lot of my girlfriends, partners, my wife, my daughter and I cant imagine selling it - EVER...

It might sound strange but the car is such a major part of my life - that all my friends and family KNOW that it is part of who i am...

Yuh - weird I guess, but hey I quite like Etypes :o)

oops did I say any of this out loud?

Just got mine at 46 although I fear I will be a lot older by the time it is suitably restored and takes to the road once more :(

I had my first ride in an E-Type at the age of 12, a neighbours Series 2 OTS and that memory has stayed with me until this day. I cannot think of any modern car that would have the same impression 34 years on!
