Just had this from the shippers....

We have had your vehicle MOT?d and it has failed on a number of items;

Indicators not working
Brake lights not working
Battery insecure
Lower suspension arm split pin missing
Rear tyre fouling on body work
Parking brake not working

We will have a look at these items and let you know an estimate for the repairs.

Hope it's not going to be a big problem....

Indicators not working - easy, just trace through the circuit
Brake lights not working - easy, just trace through the circuit
Battery insecure - you should know better
Lower suspension arm split pin missing - easy, but why is it missing?
Rear tyre fouling on body work - need to investigate why - a bit of an unknown until you look
Parking brake not working - this will not be fun - you probably need to drop the IRS to get at it properly. Hard luck

Ok the problem with tyres is they are 205/70 so are too wide, 185/70 ordered.
Guy reckons handbrake just needs adjustment.
The other fails are fixed.

Don't let it bother you too much, there's always something to be fettled. We had to change the UJs on the driveshafts the other day because they were worn, a known fault. Not expensive or a major problem (only a small amount of play in them) just a pain. All sorted as they should be again now

I'm afraid 185/70 are incorrect and will cause you ground clearance problems. The correct tyres are 185VR 15 which are either 80 or 82 percent profile

You'll be wanting to fit a breather too - the open Stromberg pipe sticking above your manifold is going to be messy and is inadequately narrow if not connected to full engine vacuum downstream of the throttle plates. Even then it's not great. I suggest a Series 1 front breather cover and large bore hose to the backplate of the triangular plenum, which should have an elbow on it.

Good idea to leave LHD and all but one of my UK Es were the same. A pain at UK toll booths but great in Europe. You would have to ditch the air conditioning to go RHD, or do some serious re-working to keep it.

You are correct about the tyres but 5% of 185mm isn't really too much is it?

The actual loss of radius between the two tyres is 12% of 185mm = 22.2mm. The car is lower by that amount, and on a car with already limited ground clearance that is a critical measurement . We are not trying to be difficult, but to save you from impacts which can be expensive if they involve bonnet undervalance, sump or exhaust

I understand the foru isn't trying to be difficult, the 185/70 were a recommendation by the shippers, I have since request they fit the correct size. The problem I have is contacting them quickly, as I'm in the wilds of Wyoming and there isn't much cell coverage here.

It is plain that the shippers haven't the faintest idea what they are talking about. i should put everything on hold until such time as you are in a position ( physical and geographical ) to deal with it
