OK. The Forum is 'affiliated' with the E-Type Club but it is wholly independent of the Club with no shared usernames, passwords or owners. We are hosted at no cost on the 'E-Type UK' servers thanks to Harry Fulford

Does your racing bring you to Thruxton? It's only a short way away from me and we can hear some of the races if the winds in the wrong/right direction.

Sadly I don't think I have any races at Thruxton next season, shame as it's one of my favourite tracks!
Would be good to catch up though when the weather gets better to look at your E Type, I'm only a bit further down the A303!

Mike Wilds? Didn't I have the pleasure of being driven (rapidly) round Jaguar's Fen End test track by you earlier in the year in the D-type?

Splendid! Best day of my life ever :D

If you're interested I did a wee write up of the experience afterwards:

In case I didn't get a proper chance to thank you afterwards... Thank you!

Looks great! And unlike most of us here, at least you'll know how to drive the damn thing properly!

Welcome Mike (the racing driver),
Great car & colour combo.
I've just looked it up on XKE Data, so here's the link for you which shows another number plate linked to it.

Have you got a heritage certificate for the car yet or know more of it's history as it was a "special"

Ladies and Gentlemen

Can I please remind you of the protocol when replying to posts on the Forum. You do not need to use the "Quote" function with every reply and reminding people what they have just read/said is unessesary  Please feel free to reply to posts but consider whether you need to "quote" the previous text every time.

I feel a bit sorry for Mike being hauled in front of the Beak on his first day at Big School. But as for Simon P, who by now should be in the Remove, if not the Lower Fifth, he should know better. :)

But there again the headmaster should know how to spell unnecessary

Hello Nickleback,
Thanks for your message and information!
Yes I have a Heritage Certificate for my car and a lot of the history in a folder
from the previous owner.
The car at one stage had the same owner for 36 years and he won a lot of Jaguar Club events with the car.
