New member, just bought an E-Type!

Hello chaps!

Just bought a '62 Series 1 3.8 FHC in red with black interior.

Beautiful machine with loads of history.

Should be collecting tomorrow.

Done a lot of reading and research over the past few months, learning about the different models, the changes etc.

After quite a bit of searching and scouring the market for the right vehicle I managed to find exactly what I wanted.

Will post up photos later on this week.

I'm sure I'll have a few questions along the way.

Guess what?

Mine is also a 62 FHC. Left the factory in Carmen red with a black interior. It's now Opalescent Dark Blue with a red interior.

Thank you. Yes arrived safely, was an interesting first drive for sure. Great power delivery and handling for a 55 year old vehicle!

I'm based in central London.
