a question for those that have owned both: how does the longer wheelbase affect the driving/handling?

Only driven E's other than my 2+2 in a relatively genteel fashion, but this is my 2+2 at Goodwood, inside front wheel starting to go light, the car never wavered and just hung on. So I'd say you wouldn't have an issue with the handling on the longer wheelbase. I'm sure better racers than me would say the FHC has an edge, but not many cars went past me.
