Hello i am waiting on a container to be shipped with a rather sad old girl inside it. 65 s1 ots that wants a lot of attention.
in fact when i get some pictures for you you may well question my sanity

,a bit like the ugly puppy in a litter i suppose,you know the one with three legs ,one eye,half an ear and probably incontinent,your head says no,but your heart cant help wanting to rescue it.
pray for me my friends,I'm sure we will have many conversations. cheers.

I am new also, this is an excellent Forum to answer any questions you may have. Is this your first restoration should be the question? If so the people on this Forum will have the answers.

Welcome indeed. Angus (1954Etype) started a full restoration just over a year ago on a LHD '65 OTS so you should start with his thread: http://etypeuk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=535 His car is now on the road - no pressure then! :D

Hi thirdearl, what chassis number have you got and don't forget to post loads of photos. (Good decision by the way!).

1e11703 just sent off to jaguar to get a letter confirming it was made in the UK,so i can re-import,and save some money on their tax bill.
yes they want me to prove a 1965 e type was made in England.

If you are in Yorkshire, start talking to Andy at Hutsons - very knowledgeable and good people to deal with - they have that rare quality nowadays - integrity.

Just mention my name and they should be able to double the price for you!
