Hello all,
Richard here, new owner of a Series 1 4.2 coupe. An England 1966 world cup winning year, no less, hence the name! Mr car has a couple of upgrades, a 5 speed gearbox, electronic ignition, stainless steel exhaust & wire wheels, and a cooling fan, so it's one for using rather than sitting at Beaulieu.
My first job is to trace some history - I have the original log book, and invoices going back to 1988, but noting for the 22 years preceding that. If anyone has any ideas regarding tracing history they would be appreciated. The production record tells me that the car was first sold by Page Motors of Epsom in Surrey, and it appears to have stayed in / around the south of England throughout its life.
Looking forward to the journey as an E Type owner... at last!
