Hi, and welcome to the forum. If you DO break down, you'll get loads of good advice on here.

Bob, you seem to have used a photo from the H&H Auctions website which may not be editable. Probably better to take your own photo, make any edits you want, then upload the edited version.
Welcome to the forum - are you based near Buxton (where the auction was)?

Thanks guys.
Yes uploaded from the H&H pics.
70 in a few months and first grandchild will be with us in September. He will need at least 2 years before he can help me on the interweb.

Strange. I had to take the car to our local village garage for a electrical issue.
I live in a small village near Northwich.
A guy went to the garage today from the same village and couldn't believe the E-Type he bidded at the H&H auction was there.
Turns out he was the last bidder before i got it.
I am told he bidded on it based on pics and write up. When he saw the real thing he wished he had bidded higher.
Coincidence, small world and all that stuff.

Bob, if you are using a Windows PC, the easiest way to edit a jpeg is to open it in Paint. Do your editing and then SaveAs. Make sure you save as a jpeg again unless you want to choose one of the other options.
Simples.

Welcome to the forum Bob. I’m only 40 minutes from Northwich.
As regards editing your pic, you will have to do it before uploading as Steve says. In the meantime here’s one I did quickly on my phone. If you are worried about the reg, save the pic and upload it in place of yours or if that doesn’t work delete your pic and say “ pic in post below “

Hi Bob
Welcome to the forum.
Another local boy here. Just down the road between Nantwich and Whitchurch.
I keep promising myself a V12 one day although it will probably never happen.
Regards
Stuart

All sounding very good. Mrs Bob and i are so looking forward to meets, tours and the general chit chat.
Trust it's not going to be too serious and we are hoping to see and hear a lot of daftness??
For the local guys we are actually in Hartford.
For the techno geeks, i am not that clever with the buttons on the PC and am very slow to learn as nowt between the ears and even worse, no grand kids to help until September

Seeing as you mention breakdowns Bob I thought I'd give you a taster. This was on Brighton seafront last year. Other notable breakdown locations were Wickes car park at Ramsgate, and on the ferry coming back from the Isle of Man. Happy days!
Loving the pale blue on your series 3 by the way.
