SOLD to the man called Graham
Thank you. She kinda caught my eye too, to state the obvious.
Haven't seen her since lockdown though. Went off for a look over by Angus Moss just before.. if it wasn't for the hole in my bank acc6 I wouldn't know I'd bought it

Will do!
You're not based in North London are you? My boss sent me a pic of a primrose S3 near him the other day

Nope, I’m Canterbury way Joe. Incidentally, what’s the lie of the land up in the big smoke regarding traffic calming measures, specifically speed bumps. I’m always weary of taking my car into town centres for fear of decoupling the exhaust from the car.

Ohh so it's not just my shocks! Yep. Nightmare. Mind you so is anything over the height of a gnat. Sure my exhaust hangers need repl6.. but man this thing is low to the ground. Any solutions?

Re ride height, and my apologies if this is too obvious - I'm not an engineer or even remotely qualified to comment!
It's worth doing everything to get the low-hanging stuff up a bit...
I didn't want to raise the ride height on my car, I like its stance, so a fair amount of time went into making sure the exhaust sits as snugly "up" as possible, all bracket bolt/stud ends point up or sideways and so on. Gained somewhere between half and a whole inch that way and it made a big difference.
I bought a set of Spax fully adjustable shox for the rear but found I don't need them now so haven't fitted them - that's the next step to gain a little ground clearance and a stiffer ride/less compression after rises.
Other than that, skid plates ahead of the silencer boxes might make grounding-out a little more tolerable?

Yea I was thinking skid plates. Maybe a skateboard
I'll do as you say, try everything to keep the stance. Likewise I feel it's part of the charm.
Otherwise I might ask you about those adjustables.

I'd certainly check the ride height, and also make sure you've got the right hangers. Mine is a 2+2, albeit a series 2, but mine hardly ever grounds anything. You can get details of just how high the body should ride, on this forum somewhere, although I'm not sure where - sorry!

Also the condition of tyres in terms of correct profile, pressure and depth of tread can have an affect on clearance but at launch Jaguar quoted the S3 ground clearance as 5.9" unladen and 5.4" laden for both OTS and 2+2.
If it helps the ROM gives setting heights for the front from the ground of 6.25" +- 0.25" under the picture frame and for the rear 7.90" +- 0.25" to the inner flat surface of the diff tie plate.

Hi Joe
I'm in North London, along with a few other owners. Once you get that nice car home, send me a PM and we can meet if we are allowed to.
