Thanks for letting me join your forum.
I've owned several classic cars including an Austin Healey 3000, Volvo P1800, Austin Ruby among others and always wanted an e type.
Just started looking and researching. Really want a Series 1 but the early ones are a bit cramped and seats uncomfortable for me, therefore thinking of a 4.2 Series 1 or 2+2.
I've not got lots of money so need to find a reliable one with a fairly recent restoration, meaning most on the market are out of my reach.
Any advice appreciated.

Certainly I find I get lots more room in my 2+2 than the FHC or OTS models, and they do have the advantage of being the least expensive option for a purchase. And welcome to the forum by the way!
