No on brakes etc standard bolts .
While I am on I was thinking about people building cars like this. I like to keep mine as original as possible without going to the extreme . I think fitting electronic ignition to get rid of points and condenser uprating brakes better tyres are ok .but when it comes down to getting say the correct year stamp on the wiper motor it is a bit to far for me . Especially when the park switch is not the best idea when it is actually on the rack.
Just my thoughts . I would rather I can have a more usable car than a trailer queen .(I do not wish to annoy)

I do have some time and I am just sharing my thoughts as I have done the same as you are doing with 3 other cars
The body in my opinion is a 64 from transition between the 3.8 and 4.2. So, I guess your car was build in late 64 but maybe registered in early 65. Let us know the number.
The rear lights do already have the closed panel where you install the foam to avoid exhaust fume getting when driving with open door window. I had a very early 4.2 and I had one side like the very early cars and the other side was as pictured in your rear view.
You will most likely also have the intermediate brake pedal box which is similar to the earlier 3.8 but has no booster. For that I think some early 4.2 shells might still have those hole to be blinded. Therefore you already have the correct holes in the fire wall to mount the correct brake servo just where all later cars do have it located. So it is all correct.
Parts list
1 Mud shield clamps on engine frames (could be plenty of them. als used for heat shield
2 Alternator mounting bracket
3 + 4 plates at steering rack on top of alu blocks, where you mount the front anti roll bar bushes (one pair is redundant)
5 bracket for the heater box, underneath, rods round the squared engine frame.
6 might be the brackets for the window frames to fix to the bottom of doors
7 oil dip holder at exhaust
8 + 9 mud shield bracket top
10 mounting bracket for fuel filter
11 spacer at steering rack going together with 3+4
12 bracket to hold the master brake servo towards the front to the engine frame
13 bracket also mounted with 11 and 3+4 to hold the front brake hoses between conifer and flexible

15 engine mounting brackets to bell housing
16 tank mounting bracket in middle of trunk, this goes on the outside towards the IRS
17 spacer between engine frames and picture frame
18 Voltage regulator bracket
19 Cover for tail gate hinge
20 spacer for pedal box
21 hold the cubby box to the dasd on top
21 B post interior covered with vinyl
22 ??
23 mounted to the rear of the roof to hold the headliner. One each side
24 cover plate from inside above the IRS

Nice project,
You certainly need spare parts catalogue N37 otherwise you get frustrated. Especially the changeover from 3.8 to 4.2 did bring more changes than later 65 or 66 cars
Make sure you do not buy any parts you do not need.

Thanks Maikel if it was a Mini , Fiat 500, Austin Healey I would recognise pieces but these Jags are a puzzle.
When they were designing these they must have thought how complicated can we make them. The rear transmission and the front suspension are more complicated than they need be . Why they didn't just fit a spring on the shock absorber I don't know .

The rear suspension is an absolute masterpiece both in design and in execution, as you may find out if you ever get to drive this car ( and its mastery is the reason it lasted virtually unchanged from 1961 to 1986, and even then was only changed to the extent of moving the brakes outboard) . The torsion bar front suspension is in fact far simpler and lighter than any coil spring design, and more to the point spreads the suspension loads back into the main structure at the bulkhead where it is strongest, which given the "birdcage" structure of the front of the E , is highly desirable

Also worth noting that modern F1 cars got rid of springs and shocks (certainly at the front end) and replaced them with torsion bars several years ago. And if it's good enough for a mega-bucks state-of-the-art F1 cars.......

At this stage what should I do next . The rear transmission is in ,fuel and brake lines in up to engine bay , water an vacuum pipes in bulkhead front suspension going on tomorrow .Should I do the brake lines and finish fuel pipe or start something else . I don't have a ramp so I will be fitting engine and box from underneath. Has anyone got the gearchange bits at the top of the box . All I have is the lever and rest of bits missing from top of gearbox .S.N. Barrett numbers 42 48 49 51 52 57 59 . Any help of finding these bits cheaper than new would be appreciated . I am looking at Ebay etc.

Just note that the gearbox parts you need come in different shape/size.....becaus similar were used on other Jag boxes.......so get the correct parts....post in our wanted section.......Steve
