The 'E' Type Forum

Hi can anyone tell me how the wiper rack works. What is the purpose of the knurled knob etc.
Also where can I get a motor . Don't laugh I know the problem . I think DL3 or better DL3A

And to show how the search facility can really help you: advance search for DL3 with Heuer as author will give you comprehensive answers that will, at a guess, give you the information you are looking for.
Heuer is our administrator and has posted an awful lot of information about so many things E Type, it is often the quickest way on finding the info needed.

Another problem now . What size is the reaction plate bolt that goes through the chassis rail .Looks a big one . also when fitting the oil filter housing to the block I have the feed to the sump and a large diameter hole at the top. What is this for. Sorry but I am a complete novice on E types.
