#1 hello all

Post by Osgodd » Wed Jan 27, 2021 9:37 pm

hiya all

so i have joined the ranks of the e-type owners, although i will put myself at the bottom of this ranking as i have acquired a body shell and some boxes of bits - plus some grand dreams.

i managed to convince the wife that a S1 3.8 fhc uk rhd was a good investment even in bits  she then let me buy another (S1 fhc 65) that was just a shell..

so far i'm just accumulating knowledge and parts, my back ground is engineering having worked for JLR for 20ish years and now at a supplier, i have rebuilt several classic cars from scratch previously and am lucky enough to have a fair sized workshop at the bottom of the garden, so as soon as funds allow i will be cracking on with a full rebuild...

cheers all

James

Thankyou for the warm welcome guys

I have attached a picture of my shed of dreams (or barn of nightmares) - think you can just see the back ends of them.

I agree - a stunning looking car (and an amazingly presentable garage!)
