hello everybody, i dont know if my words in French are automatically translate in English.
So i write in English rather. Not realy easy for me , i lack practice.
I am Jaguar lover since....1972. The first car was one 240 1968 opalescent silver blue.
Keeped ten years, many memories!;
After 5/6 years picture interruption, several Jags....
XJ12 S2, XJ6 S1, MK2 3.8, E type FHC V12, XJ6 S2;
Now the time has passed,
i have the same MK2 3.8L racing 1964 and one E type 3.8L OTS flat floors 1962.
That's all !. But not realy no, also some others like Alpine A110 and A310, Citroen SM.

Bonjour Gerard, sorry my iPad won’t include the accent on your name. But welcome to the best place for all things E Type. We have quite a few French and France resident people onboard so if you’re stuck for an English word I’m sure they can step in to help.

Please post photos of your cars, tell us more about the E Type. Do you do any work on it yourself? Ask questions and someone will usually be able to answer or point you to somewhere on the forum to find out more.

If you add your car type to your signature area then anyone answering will know which version you have and be able to help better.

Good introduction made, and a very nice car collection you have. I am sure many here would like to know more about your E, history and how it runs, how often you drive it, funny adventures, difficulties... and of course we all love pictures!
Do not worry about your English, whenever you wish switch to French and there will surely be one fellow to support and translate in proper Jaguar terminology.

As others have said, write in French and we will work on our translations. Many Frenxh speakers here and at least one person for whom Citroen is considered magnificent!

This is my second SM carburators. In restauration currently, i work on cyl. heads.

The way to write here, yes i know you can help me with that. But for me this is a good exercise
to try to write in your language, even with mistakes.

Who work on my cars ?, myself. Why?, because i know make that.

Now 20 years with me, but not completely with me, i explain...
Since 20 years i know her and i love her. At first day she was drive by his owner who was my client.
For him i maintained and pampered this car.
One day he said " you know Gérard, i must sale my E that i like verymutch because i am old now."
I loved my client , very sympatic whith me but i loved even more his E !...
I tell him " i take!!".
It was very happy , and me tooooo!!
That why i know her and take care of her since 20 years, but at my name since ten.
