#1 yet another Newbie

Post by Sepp » Sat Feb 19, 2022 3:34 pm

Hi all

I am Sepp, live near Munich in Bavaria.
After years of stealth reading, I finally registered here.
My project car is a 3.8 FHC RHD, my daily driver is a S1 2+2, LHD. Infected by this virus while a student back in the eighties, I restored/drove BMW 2002, targa and convertible, ran a 911 2.7 targa, then a Merc W111 280SE Coupé to finally buy my first E type in 2013 which is now a non-perfect but fairly reliable daily driver.
The current project is a 3.8 FHC which likely will keep me off the booze for still quite a while.
Hope to do the UK coastal route one day in it.
Thank you for having me here.

Welcome to the best place for all things E-Type!
Your car history is impressive. It would be great to see some pics of the 3.8 and the 2+2. How much of a project is the 3.8 - total restoration?

Sepp, welcome to the best place for all things E Type, friendly advice, help and an excellent knowledge section. Please add your car types to the signature area as it’ll help people understand which cars you’re asking questions about. Good luck

Nope, will content myself with getting hopefully a reasonably nice daily driver, not fully original and not high end.

Moin Sepp,

There are some other germans around in this place, even with S 1 2+2 cars, albeit mine is a year older than your daily…

Schöne Grüße,
