I have enjoyed reading and educating myself all about E types
After seeing them race in person at the Goodwood revival . I was nothing less than impressed! Simply brilliant driving!

Welcome 👍 looks amazing. How do you find time to drive all those cars in your collection  On a technical point, what are the clips on the air filter funnel for, I’ve not seen these before?

Not sure on the clips . But now I’m curious and looking into it!
I drive them all. Not saving them for the next guy or my wife’s 2nd husband! The guy who dies with the most mileage wins!
Obviously the older cars have mileage as it has been a long process of being able to afford them.
87 911 122,000 miles bought with 4,200 in 1988
06 Gt 59,700 miles bought new
2017 vantage 12,000 miles bought with 640.
2019 GT 16,000 miles bought new
2019 911 11,000 miles bought with 2,900 miles on it
2016 focus RS 50k daily driver bought with 32k
On a funny note I was watching sunset with my wife the other nite and saw a shooting star! Told her to make a wish! Her wish was stop buying car parts and cars!
My response was , oh sorry it was a plane!

Welcome to the best place for all things E Type. You’ve added a long list of cars, how about adding your name, it’s much nicer to reply to a name. Where are you? If you’re in the US then jaglovers can be another useful source of help.
Do you work on your cars because you’ll find lots of help on here with the search function and questions will be happily answered by the knowledgeable.
Happy E Type driving!

A 4.2 intake manifold, carb linkage, and cooling setup (expansion tank, radiator), at least. And 4.2 rear silencers.

Just observations, btw. As one who makes changes to my car to suit my preferences, I could never be critical of changes from standard.

Yes 4.2
It’s all about the drive! The motor and trans. Obviously aren’t matching numbers to the car. Do I care?
I’m just thrilled with the ground up restoration process that was done. I have a great looking car! It drives like a brand new. To me it’s not about resale value. The only investment a car is to me, is my enjoyment.

The key to happiness is be happy with what you have. There’s always people with bigger, better and more, and I’m not gonna go through life being jealous. I choose to go through life, being appreciative and grateful. Dennis I’m happy for you and I’m happy for me. What could be better? Yea lovely collection!

Hey Ron, I was only kidding we all love our cars and enjoy driving them as much as possible. This is actually the first occasion I ever mentioned my car collection on this forum as I appreciated yours. BTW I drove the V12 Vantage manual on an Aston Martin open day round Millbrook Test Track a few years back, what a utterly crazy machine compared to the Auto DBS I drove at the time. I went off Astons after losing close to 50K on a DB11 which was a definite disappoint.
