The 'E' Type Forum

Hi everyone, I've just joined the forum, I have RHD E-Type 3.8 FHC registered on 2nd Feb 1963 that I purchased in late November 2022 as an on going project. I'm located near to Chelmsford in Essex, if any members of the forum are near to my location that would be good to know. Ken

Welcome. I'm in Somerset but my car is also a 3.8 FHC from 1963.

Tell us more about your car, is it a long term ongoing project or close to completion? As they say 90% done, only another 90% to do! Ask questions and search through the forum for so much information and advice.

Thank you to everyone for your worm welcome, my E-Type must a been built in late December 1962 according to the chassis number, it’s finished in Opalescent Gunmetal Grey, has Webber carbs, Uprated cooling system, 4 speed all sync row gear box, Alloy bonnet and Upgraded Brakes.
I still have many Items on my list of things to do, the first one is replacing the wiring loom, but before I order one, I thought I would ask, should I change the car over from Positive earth to Negative earth with and install an alternator?
