Hello, first post as just joined. My old man died in January and he talked about his beloved E-type a lot over the years, and we have found a picture of it! It is enticing me to buy one! But I would really love to know the series/model it is and I just cannot work out what the plate is from the picture, so if anyone has any bright ideas, I would be very appreciative!

Here is a possibility .. a zoom in and the reg number ends 2C so a search on xke data for red fhc reg 2C brings this up... LVX 2C a bit of a long shot but the only one similar that comes up...who knows you may be lucky ..the company that sold it is E type UK who host our forum....a call to them is worth while...Steve ps typically a restored car would have bullet mirrors removed from bonnet
