Hello all.
I found you while searching for answers as I dig in to my recently acquired '69 FHC. This is my first Jaguar. I'm hoping my experience with the two Series III Land Rovers and nearly finished TR3A gives me a little advantage, but the XKE seems to have a few challenges for me.
Looking forward to our conversations. Thank you.

Welcome to the best place for all things E Type. Please click on your user name top right then you can add your real name and car types to the signature area. It’s much nicer to address you by a name and if we know which version of E Type you have it’s easier to answer questions.
At least you are used to working on British cars and should have little problem getting used to the E, and it’ll be a bit faster than your other British cars.
Have you got all the workshop manuals for the car? Have a look in the knowledge section to see the recommended books and they are in there as pdf to download and print to have a page readily to hand. But as is emphasised you must have the actual manuals as well.
Good luck and have lots of fun in your new acquisition.
