We took the trouble to study the "Welcome to the E-Type Forum" page and noted the following:
"If you have something to contribute jump in with a post, nobody will shoot you down in flames whatever the E-Type content".
Thus we thought it might be of interest for readers to see our article - particularly in terms of the prices for E Types in the 1970s and where, if they had simply matched inflation, those prices should be today. We also thought that some readers might be interested in our other work on the matter of oil prices - a subject very relevant to the E Type because the model's termination came during an era when the price of petrol had began to dramatically increase in the 1970s. We offer a hypothesis for the post 1971 oil price 'explosion' that is rather different to the standard mainstream commentary. We suspect that a similar (indeed much worse) episode of currency debasement inflation is unfolding today (especially for holders of pound sterling) and this is obviously relevant if you are filling up a relatively fuel hungry vehicle like an E Type!

Our reviews cover a diversity of subjects but, when we review cars, we just seek out interesting vehicles to write about and list them in return on a gratis basis.
