#1 Identifying E type crank

Hi Guys
I would like to introduce myself as a new member and ask a question which I am hoping there will be some experts out there who can answer.
I am Steve Rushworth, based in Halifax, West Yorkshire and joined the Club durung the recent Silverstone 50th meet.
My current E type for the past 4 years is a Series 3 fhc which I have been gradually changing and improving to my likes.
The car currently has a rebuilt 6l fuel injected engine and Getrag box, uprated brakes back and front, Bailey handling kit, Stefan Wahl headlamp covers and sits on Minilite wheels.
My questions relates to my recent aquisition which is an early Series 1 fhc no 960042 which requires a total rebuild and came to me completely disassembled in lots of boxes.
With the car came some additional parts such as a 3.8 engine from a MK 2 also disassembled and mixed in with the E type parts.
The problem I have is identifying the correct crankshaft for my engine.
1 crank is clearly marked SCFYAT69 & C4808.
Second is not too clear but appears to be marked C2( 3 or 5 ) 21 1 & SCFA ###98
( # numbers not clear )
My feeling is the first crank is the correct one as the crank webs are a lighter section than the other which seems to be more suited to a saloon application.
The journal diameters are similar, the first crank is on standard diameters and the second - 0.020".
I would greatly appreciate any help in identifying the correct crank as I am wanting to get on with the engine rebuild.
Steve
