#1 New Car take 2

Post by snowdmc » Mon Oct 17, 2011 1:25 pm

Hi all, i previously had a series 2 which i had imported from Calif. But required much more work than i had time for, so it was sold for market value to a car restorer in Germany. Off the back of this i have now bought another etype Series 3 2+2 (needed for my 6' 5"), so after a short time away, i am now back to enjoy the veritable selection of problems i may now face. however she (Bertha) (like the old kids cartoon) looks quite nice, and i have done more miles in her this weekend , than in the previous 2 years it would seem.

Hopefully 'market value' wasn't too far from what you paid for it plus shipping. At least you can put that behind you. Don't come round here in the S3 or you might end up selling that one too because that's Dorothy's favourite colour. 'Carolina Blue' as she'd call it - the colour of UNC Chapel Hill's sports teams... Nice car - enjoy.

Its funny you mention chapel hill as i have spent some time there myself as have family living there, and my cousins went to NC state 'Go Tarheels' :)
