Evening all,im new to this Forum but not new to E types.I've owned my 1966 S1 coupe for 40 years. Was bought and used till about 1979 and then taken off the road.I had the shell repainted about 12 years ago and it was then left as a bare shell till about 6 years ago.I then reassembled it over about 18 months .Body panels are all origninal apart from the front wings, interior original apart from carpets and door sill covers Did quite a few subtle upgrades, suspension ,brakes steering etc.Its used sparingly ,longest trip was 2000 miles in France couple of years ago.Dont know why ive never seen this forum before

Hi Dave and welcome
Quite a few S1 Coupes on here...it took a while for perfection to be appreciated!

Very interested to hear of the lack of work required on the bodywork, which is quite unusual for a UK car. I'd also be very interested in the old photos.

Hi Dave

Also a warm welcome ( from rainy Belgium) from a fellow 1966 S1 owner !

Indeed impressive ownership ! I wish you all the best and I am sure you will find this forum both fun and informative.

Cheers
