The 'E' Type Forum

Hi to everyone,
my name is Guenter Hufnagel from Rothenburg ob der Tauber Germany.
One year after I sold my S1 E-Type I decided that I cannot live without an E-Type. I always liked the eerie 1 coupe more than the ots. On the other hand it was always very hot in the car, so I was not sure whether to buy an ots.
But then I discovered a white S1 coupe with a Webasto sun roof which has it all.

BTW Where are the positions the radio antenna was mounted. On my last E-Type it was on the roof in the middle just over the windscreen, which looked pretty cool..

Welcome Guenter, good to have another European member. On the series one cars, the common position is on the rhs of the car just forward of the A post. I would be extremely careful about drilling a new one there as if it had one originally, you could end up with a big hole! I would look at an aerial that sticks onto the windscreen.
