#1 1st POST Newbie

Post by E-by'eck » Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:18 pm

Never in the field of Etype rebuilding has so much been owed by so many to so few. As a newbie I can only say thank you for the wealth of info the posters put on this site. You will inspire me to greater things!!

My picture says it all. That's me on the right. Got hair back then in 1994.. so excited taking delivery of my Etype. 1962 Ser 1 ..a bargain!! What a dreamer!! 16years later and three house renovation moves on , I am finally committed to make this happen before the zimmer arrives. Bodyshell done and sprayed. IRS done... now where did I put the engine??

Hi, and welcome,

I remember when my car looked somewhat similar to yours, except for no wheels, engine or suspension. It has been a battle but I echo the good wishes and the thought that when you drive down the road for the first time, it will all be worth it!

Regards,

Simon
