A proud owner of a series 1 FHC since April '08, my only complaint with the forum is that I'm spending too much time on it (and I'm retired!) Great stuff, though and I am already applying some advice offered and getting ready to apply more, when funds (and wife) permit.
Here a quick query. My headlining is original and is stained with use (a previous owner was a smoker, judging by the burn rings round the cigar lighter!) Can anyone recommend how to clean this without damaging the material?

Never personally had a FHC so no experience of a headlining. The only thing I would say is to be careful using solvent on it as the glue will be old and very probably weak. Once the headlining drops it will be impossible to put it back properly so you will need a replacement and that is a professionals job to get it done right. Perhaps you could consult/employ a car valeting company to do the work or maybe our other Harry can give you some trade tips as to how he gets his cars looking so good.
