#1 Back in Business!

Post by Peter B. » Mon Oct 15, 2012 8:51 am

Hello to all,
just being so happy,I have to share this feelings with all of you.
After selling my 2+2 and more than 12 months of intenisve search all over Europe, having bought and returned a "basket" in the UK, I found, bought and brought back to my house, my latest obsession, a ?62 3.8 OTS! In opalescent silver grey, with a black hood and a red interior she looks just stunning. Imaculate condition, I even go as far as to say concours, if I would be after that. Spotwelded panels, all the right materials used at the right places, according to Philip Porters books, even the moss box is a pleasure. So what to say, even bad things(my unseccessful search) may lead to a good end (found that particular car).

Gorgeous car, Peter. And I can't think of a better place to own an E Type than Germany with your autobahns and alpine roads. Many years of happy, thrilling motoring!
