Due to a lengthy and horrendously expensive home renovation, not to mention all the issues with the economy, I had to take a breather from all things related to E-Types--and a lot of other fun things as well.
I had planned on being well into the restoration of 1E32208 by now, but after allowing it to sit untouched in the garage for over a year, I sold it in July, 2011, to a guy from Holland. The car is now in Germany, where I hope it will get a proper restoration.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that I'm still alive and kicking here in southern California. I just dragged out all of my old shop manuals and notes, so hopefully I can use my 30 years of messing with these wonderful cars to contribute to the forum, while keeping my eyes peeled for my next E-Type. Glad to see that all of the familiar names are still here!
Cheers,
Mark Shipley, aka, "Moeregaard"
