Morning,
Bought an e-type restoration project about a year ago as I got made redundant and needed something to do!
Been working on it with some friends who restore classics, family and friends have been badgering me to get details on the web so they can follow progress.
So I've finally got my courage up to join a forum and submit a post :-)
I'll be submitting updates to the restoration forum as I've got a year?s worth of posts to catch up with

Lots of good stuff on this forum - should have looked it up sooner!

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure that you will find, as I have, that it is a source of unlimited expertise and friendly and generous members. I'm really interested in learning more about your project. Any '61 is a great find and a flat floor to boot! Is it right hand drive? How about the dreaded rust issue? The best way to learn about these cars is to do a restoration. I hope that you enjoy the journey.

Welcome - you will find a lot of help and you CAN do most of the rebuild yourself which will reduce costs significantly albeit it takes longer...
If you have any questions just post them - you will get a pretty quick response
Cheers

Cheers guys,
Yes a flat floor was a great find, it is a November 61 LHD OTS - rust a plenty!
i'm really starting to appreciate the etype now I'm building one (with some help - lead work is new to me!) the purity of this early car is a pleasure.
