#1 FHC & OTS 4.2 FRANCE

Post by Gasboat78 » Wed Aug 21, 2013 6:06 am

Hello
I'm French, I'm 37 years old and I'm passionate about Jaguar and mainly E Type Jaguar.
I have a 4.2 liter FHC Serie 1 1966 and my father a 4.2 liter OTS serie 1
1967.
We have fully restored these 2 cars. Mechanical, bodywork, saddlery etc. ...

I work at PSA Peugeot Citroen in car chassis department.

Nice cars and some good shots. Are they both the same colour?

Yes exactly the same color. The color is LEH Gun Metal (Not Opalescent Gun Metal) . It's the color of the XJ-S.
Interior is red for the 2 E type.

This car does things like no other car- very smooth ride, powerful engine, gorgeous Maserati sound, and the best steering (Diravi) I have EVER driven.

Will NEVER sell the SM. Sadly they never made a safari (shooting break) version.

Beautiful cars! We travel through France a lot and have only ever seen two E-Type's. Maybe we need to look harder! Have you added your cars to our E-Type World map?

Hello Gasboat78,
What a beautiful result!
One of each: perhaps to make no choice beetween ots and fhc, is the right choice :)
